Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this workshop is perfect for anyone interested in learning the art of Chinese calligraphy.
Our skilled instructor Raymond Yang will guide you through the basic techniques and strokes, helping you create beautiful characters with Chinese brush and ink. Don't miss this opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich culture of Chinese calligraphy!

Where: This workshop will be hosted at Winchester Arc Library, Arc Space 1
When: 2pm to 4pm Sunday September 28
What to expect: Recap of the basics of Chinese calligraphy, with a focus on introducing famous Chinese poetry from different Chinese dynasties. Featured activities include 'Pick your favourite Poet', 'Practice both reading and writing one famous line'. Some activities in 1st Workshop will be repeated.

Where: This workshop will be hosted at Winchester Arc Library, Arc Space 1
When: 2pm to 4pm Saturday October 4
What to expect: Recap of the basics of Chinese calligraphy, with a focus on introducing Chinese zodiac signs and five elements. Featured activities include 'What's my Chinese zodiac sign and element and how to read and write them', 'What is my lucky number and how to read and write it'. 'How to count in Chinese'. Some popular activities in the previous 2 workshops will be repeated.

When: 2 pm to 4 pm Saturday,13 September
Highlight: Introduction to the basics of Chinese calligraphy; tools, history and different scripts.
8 Participants learnt how to use the tools and practice their names in Chinese. Design Chinese round fan and bookmarks with their own calligraphy.
