Join us for a fun and laid-back online free session where we dive into the world of Chinese traditional paintings. Whether you're a newbie or just curious, we'll explore different styles, techniques, and the stories behind these timeless iconic paintings. Perfect for anyone wanting to understand and appreciate this beautiful art form from the comfort of your home.

Highlights:  As the last session of this series, in this workshop, we tried to give participants more freedom to practice the words they would like to learn. Everyone enjoyed creating some unique gift cards for friends and family for the coming Christmas and New Year.

Hightlight:  Recap of the basics of Chinese calligraphy, with a focus on introducing Chinese zodiac signs and five elements. Featured activities include 'What's my Chinese zodiac sign and element and how to read and write them'

Highlight:  A taste of Tang Poetry through Chinese calligraphy.

13 Participants this time!  A brief history of Tang Dynasty Poetry was introduced in the workshop. Everyone was given a task to write one character within a poetry puzzle..... It is great fun!

Highlight:  Introduction to the basics of Chinese calligraphy; tools, history and different scripts. 

8 Participants learnt how to use the tools and practice their names in Chinese. Design Chinese round fan and bookmarks with their own calligraphy.
